SCULPTURES

Sculptures have always been present in my work since my first recognizable memories from my earliest childhood days. In those first forms I established and recognized, they were almost always dolls or symbols of certain games that once established the development of imagination and the coordination of movement and perception within each child. In question were balls, whirligig, weapons, soldiers, masks, robots, flying kites, chess pieces, dice, etc. Apart from these relatively indirect elements and symbols of the game, there was certainly the most common and established pantheon of revived appearances of fairy tale heroes, fables and the world of cartoons and comics that were inevitably part of the theater of growing up for most generations of the 20th century. Among these anthropomorphic and revived concepts and representations from the world of nature and animals are certainly indispensable: Snow White, Pinocchio, Teddy Bear, Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck, princesses and princes, horses, deer, bambi, unicorn etc …
